Welcome
Dear Friends,
To inform you of my recent activities, please see below. Please email me at kathylsun@post.harvard.edu, if you’d like to join in on any efforts or like to stay informed
A. Arts, Literature, and Business:
I’m working with a few people to accomplish the following missions, hopefully by end of summer 2009.
1. Complete 1-2 books on spirituality and its connection to personal journey, economics, math/science, health, etc.
2. Publish gift cards that combine images inspired by math/science and spirituality concepts. The goal is to promote convergence between these two forces.
3. Work with Hari Kaur at Goldenbridge Kundalini Yoga to bring kundalini yoga-meditation to Columbia, and set up a student organization dedicated to this purpose.
4. Organize a worldwide spiritual pilgrimage to major spiritual/mystical/holy sites, starting from end of 2009 summer. You can join for any leg of the trip. The specific locations are being mapped out as we “speak” (some under consideration include: 8 temples mentioned in “Serpent of Light” book, Siberia taiga near where Anastasia lives from “The Ringing Cedars” book, Skellig Michael in Ireland, The Great Pyramid, Tibet monasteries, etc).
B. Math and Sciences
1. Taking Introduction to Real Analysis with Prof. Igor Krichever (it discusses the property of real numbers)
2. Taking unofficial reading weekly with Prof. Robert Lipshitz (we go over various math topics of interest. Last two weeks, we talked about hyper real numbers, John H Conway, Henry Segerman’s math art, some linear algebra, matroids, etc). It’s fascinating.
3. Prof. Dusa McDuff introduced me to Nebraska Conference for Women in Math (NCWM) and Princeton’s Women in Math programs. At NCWM, some students asked me to give a presentation on yoga/meditation to improve learning to some students, they loved it. I hope to do this more for other schools.
C. Other related activities and planning:
1.Helping to plan for the NYC visit of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath in Oct, and Sr. Hamsacharya Yaniv Cohen in May
2. Helping Prof. Rohit Parikh plan his conference on a dialogue among logicians, philosophers, and spiritual thinkers.
3. Will help Prof. Amit Goswami (from WhatTheBleep movie) distribute his documentary on Quantuam Activism, when it’s ready.
4. Two social causes
- www.freebookcircle.com - allow people to circulate and donate spiritual books. similar sites may be http://bookmooch.com/ and http://bookcrossing.com/
- www.paytocharity.com - - during a purchase, people can pay into charity of choice rather than pay directly to merchant (as per merchant’s agreement). similar site may be http://www.networkforgood.org/

Let Us Put An End To All Social Stresses
Let us put an end to all social stresses
Let us be honest with each other
Without fear of rejection or resentment
Let us honor each other’s passions
Let us treasures each other’s art
Let us lay the ego down upon the earth
Let us swim the sea out beyond jealousy
Let us discover each other deep in the forest free
Let us never worry again
Let us be here for each other
Without concern of being owed
Let us break free of anxiety
Let us live forever together perfectly
Let us open our arms when another needs to cry
Let us open our minds when another needs to laugh
Let us open our hearts, breathe deep, and fall in
Let us release all negativity
Let us know the spirit purely
Without fret of being labeled
Let us provide the homeless homes
Let us show the heartless soul
Let us live with grace and ease
Let us love true
Let us surrender to the dream

if i had more time and could multiply myself, i’d pledge discipleship to mr. joseph smith, mr. steiner, ms. blavasky, master iyengar (absolute yogic perfection), and master thich nhan han (tx for teaching me how to wash dishes/meditate on corpse/and putting half smiles on website); www.swamij.com tx for helping me sleep better - but then, they say time is an illusion; so maybe i could…or i’ll just visit them at astral
it’s fun being the bubbles
- try it sometimes; it’s free.
my cousins, aunties, uncles, mamas, papas, and gurussssss! and definitely grannies and granpas. can i pls have some more curry?
i’ll feed babie krishna a crystal ginger candy; do my hair the same way as bridget; and make jesus smile (the nails must hurt!); and sing with nina hagen (ouch, hot stuff
maybe if i keep on looking at the geniuses’ pictures, i’ll get smart too. take the bubble to infinity on a one way ticket! btw, mr. e - tx for popping the stargate for the bubbles; master ramanujan - you were most certainly a vegan, right :) mr. gauss - my guru says induction is false, what says thou please? ; and mr. tagore - you’re surely a much softer softie than you look
my guru says: “bubbles, it’s time to share happiness with others”; bubbles: “but how, master? can i package it and sell it at walmart?” - maybe mr. john hagelin can show me how to have 1st attempt at politics; and tx valarie kaur for an unparalleled inspiration (http://www.dwf-film.com/crew.html) -AND yes, meditation/love/devotion ALL the way
after all, it IS the new technology
1. guess which one is my husband? not the girl, no, not the cute chinese twins, yes, the handsome one!! bravo. tx for supporting the bubbles all the way
- me just bought us tickets to nirvanaland; 2. that’s my sista - lulu - she’s hotter than ‘ot (that’s bubble-talk for hot); if you are an equally hot yogi, can you ping her at himalayse.com? 3. my favorite 4 yr ol, though he thinks he’s 10 or something (http://www.victormorell.com/) 4. bubbles says “time to be HAPPY”; 5. my mom and dad are too busy in china saving the falun gong movement, to be on website; but they do say HI.
someone once told the bubbles :”the best friends are spiritual - they want nothing from you/need nothing from you/and seek the same thing as you - return to absolute bliss” - tx, i finally got it!
